Massage of different kinds can be integrated into a physiotherapy session. Deep tissue, soft tissue, Myofacial release, etc. … 

 

Massage benefits easing stress, muscular release, pain relieve and increases the circulation. Other massages techniques are used to relax and or to increase range of movement in a joint. Sports massages stimulate the muscle tone. Massages also can increase the willingness to move.

 

Some massages hurt and some don’t. It is always important to give your Physiotherapist feedback about how hard or soft you can stand the massage.
