Here at Parkside Physiotherapy Centre Toowoomba, we are doing all we can to support our patients in their physio treatment; even with the ever-changing restrictions of COVID-19. 

Medicare Rebates The Australian Government has announced that allied health providers that deliver Chronic Disease Management (CDM) eligible services can now do so via Telehealth. 

Private Health Fund Rebates Health funds will be offering rebates for allied health services that can be delivered by Telehealth for Physiotherapy. 

We are excited to offer this new service to our clients and will be continuing this service long after this crisis, in order to assist people in remote locations or who have difficult schedules. 


1.     Book your appointment (online or by phoning the clinic).

2.     Download ‘Physiapp’ (used for client/patient) from App Store OR open in your browser. It is FREE. 

4.     At time of appointment you will receive an email with a code and link.

5.     Click on link to open in browser OR enter the code in the ‘Physiapp’ application. 

6.     You will be connected with your therapist.

7.     Admin will send you an invoice – kindly pay by direct deposit quoting invoice number or call to pay by credit card over the phone.

PLEASE call us if you are having any difficulty with the above.


·          A clear space to move around freely, preferably distraction free.

·          Access to a good internet connection.

·           A PC computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.


That is no problem at all. We can still help. Our physiotherapists are well experienced with receiving frantic calls from friends and family who have hurt themselves ( like a fall on the slopes of the Swiss Alps or a relative from interstate who has hurt their back doing some gardening!) We are happy to take phone calls and can help talk you through a treatment plan.


YES! Telehealth is rebatable by health funds! 

Here at Parkside Physiotherapy Centre we are taking all necessary measures to stop the spread of COVID-19 and would appreciate your cooperation.


With this in mind, please DO NOT attend the practice if you are unwell, have flu-like symptoms or have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

·         If you are unwell, please do not enter.

·         If you are experiencing ANY cold or flu-like symptoms you need to get tested and stay home until you are informed by QLD Health of your results.

·         Cashless payments are preferred.

·         If you would prefer to wait outside or in your vehicle, please call 4632 6233 to let us know you are here and we will call you in when your physiotherapist is ready to see you. 

·         Where possible we ask that only patients and essential carers enter the clinic.

·         The health of our patients, physiotherapists, staff and carers is our primary concern.

Your physiotherapist (PT, physio) is fully registered in Queensland and is an APA member with an extensive history of patient care, as well as undertaking specialised training and achieving additional postgraduate qualifications (IE orthopaedic care).
